Dominik comes from a business family which is now in its 5th generation.
He holds a BSc in Economics and a MSc in Finance, worked in the international investment banking industry and co-founded a family office. His research on family dynamics is inspired by insights from cognitive neuroscience, behavioural economics, complex system and chaos theory.

Doris is a Director of Stonehage Fleming within the Family Office Division where she draws on her experience in succession planning/family governance, both as a 3rd generation entrepreneur and as an advisor to other family businesses. Doris is a Non Executive director of her family business, mainly focused on hospitality and real estate.

Octavian Pilati is an Austrian entrepreneur with a family history dating back to the year 1000. Octavian spent his young adult years gaining profound knowledge in the technical field, when suddenly the family business became Octavian’s focus. In 2015 the company slid into a mayor crisis and Octavian decided to take over part of the management. He is now sharing his experiences and knowledge about family businesses, personal development, crisis, fraud and a lot more.

Zita is a polyglot content creator and curator, strategic advisor, and the Founder of The Legacy Atelier™. She applies a transdisciplinary approach to capture vital family legacy facets by fusing the family’s various intertwined capitals with the historical and business aspects to showcase the essence of each family’s fabric and depict it in artful creations. Zita is also a Partner, Head of Family Office Practice, UK, at Stanton Chase helping Family Principals to find and retain their C-Suite talent.

Zita holds an MA in Philology (ELTE, Comparative Aesthetics) and is a PhD Candidate in Family Business Legacy Interpretations with a focus on mapping and merging current leaders and their successors’ perception and expectation horizons via the interpretation of classical artworks.

Based in London, as the Chief Engagement Officer at a global culture transformation advisor, Carlos helps organizations align business strategy with corporate culture. He is a founding member of Family Hippocampus, a peer-group-driven think & do tank focusing on business family dynamics. Carlos held managing director and chief executive officer positions at family enterprises and prompted a family enterprise association. He studied engineering and graduated in systems management. Further studies include sociology and business administration. In his spare time, he enjoys his family, friends, traveling, and sports.

Sasha Lund is a multi-cultural polyglot, serial entrepreneur, strategic advisor and podcast host of Legacy Talks.

Through her company Core Values Consulting she advises a range of multi-generational business families on their succession planning, family governance and Next Gen challenges to secure healthy generational continuity and longevity.

She is an avid philanthropist who sits on the Board of PeacePlayers and Willow Thrive, and acts as Ambassador for Arts and Culture Without Borders and Ubuntu Life. She is also a FORBES-contributor and is currently writing and co-authoring a researched-based article that focusses on women in family businesses.

Sasha has a Bachelor of Arts from King’s College London, majoring in Modern Foreign Languages with Education and Film, a Diploma from the University of Barcelona in Shakespearean Studies and a Cambridge University CELTA Qualification.

Prof. Dr. Bernd Ankenbrand

What is meaningful wealth for us? How do we find the purpose of our wealth? Prof. Dr. Bernd Ankenbrand explores meaningful wealth and its yardsticks. As a scientist and pilot, he explores the unmapped worlds of behavioral economics and provides application-oriented insights for meaningful wealth.

Dr. Bernd Ankenbrand is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. His international research and teaching experience includes appointments at the University of Witten/Herdecke, Karlshochschule International University, the Sino German School of Governance in Nanjing, China, the Northern Institute of Technology in Hamburg, and the Social Cognition and Social Neuroscience Lab at Princeton University, USA.

In the private sector, his professional stations include Arthur Andersen, PwC and gexid. While his references as a keynote speaker include Deutsche Bank, Carmignac Gestion, C-Quadrat, Universal Investment, the Private Banking Congress and Standard Life.

Brian is the founding partner of Ducere Advisory – a consultancy business which develops programs to maintain family cohesion and smooth the path of succession. He is also an ICF Family Business Coach, a member of Family Hippocampus and 

Brian focuses on the human side of family business, in line with his belief that external success is impossible without internal family harmony. 

He is Chairman of the Family Education Committee at his family and sits on the Family Council. The committee is responsible for nurturing younger family members, helping the transition to the next generation. 

As well as the unique perspectives gained from his own position in a family enterprise, Brian is an experienced advisor to other business families, both in the UK and globally. 

He has also spoken internationally at various Family Business events for organisations such as Camden Wealth, Deloitte’s, FBN Romania, FBN India, FBN Columbia, Sentry Farming, WM Nexus and Prestel & Partner; alongside, seminar presentations for various family businesses and private offices.
