Dominik comes from a business family which is now in its 5th generation.
He holds a BSc in Economics and a MSc in Finance, worked in the international investment banking industry and co-founded a family office. His research on family dynamics is inspired by insights from cognitive neuroscience, behavioural economics, complex system and chaos theory.

Octavian Pilati is an Austrian entrepreneur with a family history dating back to the year 1000. Octavian spent his young adult years gaining profound knowledge in the technical field, when suddenly the family business became Octavian’s focus. In 2015 the company slid into a mayor crisis and Octavian decided to take over part of the management. He is now sharing his experiences and knowledge about family businesses, personal development, crisis, fraud and a lot more.

Geraldine Hardy was born in Indonesia to a Chinese father, to an 8th-generation Peranakan family and descendant of Hong Kiam Lauw, and a German mother. She grew up across Indonesia, Germany, and the United States, gaining valuable experience in connecting with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.

With over 27 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, business development, and communications, Geraldine has a strong background in investor relations and stakeholder engagement across private and public equity. Her main interest is in family office dynamics, new technologies, market expansion, and start-ups.

Geraldine has worked and lived in nine countries in various industries that involved adapting and gaining knowledge in sectors such as oil & gas, bio pharmaceutical, clean tech, information technology, luxury: yachting, private aviation property, family office and finance in Europe (Germany, Portugal & France), UK (London & Brighton), ME (Dubai), Africa (Tanzania & Cameroun), SEA (Singapore & Indonesia), Australia (Brisbane) and USA (New York).

She blends business acumen with a focus on well-being to enhance productivity, creativity, and integrity in decision-making process—qualities she sees as essential for adapting to today’s uncertain landscape.

Dr. Bernd Ankenbrand is a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. His international research and teaching experience includes appointments at the University of Witten/Herdecke, Karlshochschule International University, the Sino German School of Governance in Nanjing, China, the Northern Institute of Technology in Hamburg, and the Social Cognition and Social Neuroscience Lab at Princeton University, USA.

In the private sector, his professional stations include Arthur Andersen, PwC and gexid. While his references as a keynote speaker include Deutsche Bank, Carmignac Gestion, C-Quadrat, Universal Investment, the Private Banking Congress and Standard Life.
